Welcome
We actively help introduce new people
into the sport and are very friendly. Beginners
training courses are run for both juniors and
adults throughout year, and there is also
excellent fleet racing for those who are already
experienced racers. Family membership is only
£202.00 (plus joining and boat fees), and
concessions are available.
Excellent Facilities
We have recently refurbished facilities with a
large changing rooms, an onshore training room
and a comfortable bar/lounge. The sailing area is
extremely generous and is rarely affected by low
water, launching and recovery is easy on the wide
concrete slipways. We are allowed to sail on
Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Further

page. The club training boats are modern, we also
have two fast powerboats for safety and two
recently overhauled diesel committee boats. If
you want to bring home Olympic Gold, this is one
of the best places to practice in the area!
Picturesque Location
The Blythe Valley is gorgeous but doesn't have
too many trees to affect the direction of the
wind. It's an excellent venue to unwind and get
away from it all!
Brilliant Sport
You can choose how much physical effort to want
exert with the selection of an appropriate boat.
If you want to enjoy a quiet sail with the
family, there is a selection of slow boats that
are very stable. Equally, if you want more
adrenaline and speed, you can choose a faster and
more responsive boat, and go sailing when it's
really blowing! There isn't any other sport that
offers the unique combination of exhilarating
action, tactical thinking and good old fashioned
fresh air. We're definitely hooked!
THE MEMBERSHIP YEAR
begins 1st April. Membership fees after 1st
August are pro-rata to the nearest month
excluding entrance fees.
