Barry Sea Scouts at Blithfield

Blithfield SC welcomed Barry Sea scouts to Blithfield again for their summer camp from Sat 23rd July until Sat 30th last month. This event is a long standing partnership between South Staffs Water, who provide the field for camping, the club who provide changing facilities and hot water and Barry Sea Scouts who provide the participants.

The Sea scouts , numbering approx 50 including instructors, the largest contingent for several years, arrived on Saturday in a mini convoy of minibuses, cars and trucks, bringing all their tents, field kitchen gazebo, porta-loos, a mini assault course, a variety of different sailing boats and their own safety craft.
