RYA Improve Your Wingsurfing
Wingsurf & Wingfoil – Teaching Progression Sessions
– these are sequential sessions (no shortcuts) and most likely will require practise prior to the next stage.
Session 1 - RYA Learn to Wingsurf Course – Beginner - introduction to kit, basic wing handling, sail across the wind, basic turnaround, safety aspects.
Session 2 – RYA Improve Your Wingsurf -Improver- making progress upwind & downwind, holding power into the gybe, first tacks, switch stance & pumping.
Session 3 – RYA Wingfoil, First Flights – Intermediate - foil kit, safety, launch & land, sail the small board off foil, first flights (the airborne photo snapshot)
